Note to Readers: This plan was approved in 1995 and serves today as the foundation
for current University planning and development. The 1995 plan was instigated consistent
with two previously prepared guidelines; "Visions and Values" and "Planning Assumptions"
which are listed in the Planning Framework Section of this document.

An update of the 1995 plan entitled "The Next Step" was approved in 2000.
The 2000 plan includes revisions to the "Planning Assumptions" which can
be viewed in "The Next Step" document as http://facilities.uncc.edu/master/.
