Work cooperatively with all departments.
Work with Information Technology Systems to develop a supportive policy infrastructure.
Ensure proper maintenance of Facilities Management computer assets through adequate condition assessment and maintenance funding levels.
Redirect resources from small purchases to large purchases and combine purchases where cost effective.

Goal 4 - Implement administrative and business technologies that effectively cut cost and improve quality of service.
Identify the most promising applications of e-business (e-payment, e-procurement, e-payment acceptance, e-inventory) and implement within state guidelines.
Expand delivery of information, transactions, status and reports via the Web.
Manage documents and document routing electronically for less routing delay, faster retrieval, more efficient use of space, and reduction of redundant paperwork.
Automate for self-service. Plan for development/ purchase of systems that are personalized to individual needs--that act and communicate based on who the user is and what they do.
Enhance server and workstation function, reliability, and security. |
